Music producer and programmer (mid at both 😔).
Currently working on a bullet hell using pygame and getting better at making EDM in fl studio.
I love some good deep ambience (in basically anything not only music).
Fav genres comin right up
I produce a variety of mostly EDM and HDM genres. Here are some of the ones I have already made/will prob make in the future along with a probably factually incorrect description of what it is (to me):
Drum n Bass - Fast repetitive drum breaks + bass
Neurofunk - aggressive atonal DnB
Jungle - drum breaks but old and less repetitive
Breakcore - jungle + speed + get high
Breakbeat - slower syncopated drum breaks
House - slow 4 on the floor beat + clap
Techno - slow 4 on the floor beat but no clap
Trance - slow 4 on the floor beat but melodic
Synthwave - trance if it was in the 80s
Hardcore - techno, but faster and harder
Hardstyle - trance + hardcore and add a bit of bass with a delay after the kick and make it EMOTIONAL!!!
Rawstyle - Hardstyle but angry (so like hardcore) but the kicks are crying for mercy
uk Hardcore - sometimes sounds like jungle sometimes like hardcore im losing my mind.. uhh just call it camellia-final-drop-core
Frenchcore - hardcore but with autotuned robotic french kicks
Speedcore - hardcore but EVEN FASTER
Splittercore - speedcore but EEEVEN FASTTTERRR (i am not making extratone stop mentioning it)
future bass - noone can decide what the hell this is lmfao but to me its just electro house with dubstep drums using a trap beat and lots of 'future' sounding synths (do NOT ask me what future synths are you will learn in good time)
color bass - future bass but autotuned so instead of future synths you have 'color' synths (do NOT ask me what color synths are you will learn in good time)
dubstep - I am referring to brostop sorry deep dubstep fans. slow halftime beat + bass growls and wubs
riddim - dubstep but more simple and atonal + sound design
trap - hip hop + digital drum pads and a lot of hi hat spam
phonk - dark distorted trap + cowbells
electro swing - electro house but swing beat
complextro - electro house but very rhythmic basslines + pauses
Hi-tech - low key no idea like complextro + drum n bass idk
Lofi - hip hop or trap but very slow and filter out the highs and make it happy and calm
Ambient - just anything that sounds 'atmospheric' so like 90% of game OSTs etc.I like a way larger variety of genres than the ones mentioned here, but I might not be as interested in making them as I enjoy listening to them. Or i just forgot lol...*(I havent included variations of these genres such as electro house or liquid drum and bass)

Deep in depth lore explanation (5hrs)
When I was small (stop please don't leave lmao I swear its not that cring) my mom used to tour me round churches, where I would beg her to beg the organist to lemme have a go after mass ended where I would obviously cook up the most fire organ solo ever heard to date. I also got a casio keyboard and took piano lessons as well as joined the choir in primary school and generally just enjoyed any music lessons we had.
My first ever DAW was garageband on a tablet in primary school but I was like 7 so like yeahhh...
Anyway I started using garageband again during secondary school and chose music as one of my 2 GSCEs I could actually choose. I was obviously gonna pick computer science so it was between art and music, and since I was already attending piano lessons I thought music would be free (it wasn't I actually hated most of it, but I can't be mad because it directly got me making music).
During my GSCEs I made my first and only (released) song on garageband. My second DAW was logic pro since my school used macs and we had a free subscription and I was a dumbass and didn't know I could use it instead of garageband and it was basically just a better version. However after finishing my music GSCEs and not doing A level music, or owning a mac (trash) I have only made one song on there.
After watching a legendary video that got me inspired to make music again, I got LMMS the open source free DAW. Used it to make 2 songs and start a third, but I knew nothing of how to actually make music at the time and the complex UI as well as all my songs being garbage led me to quit making music for a while. On logic pro and garageband I was hard carried (though limited to) the large variety of stock synths and instruments, whereas LMMS literally has no good ones and you have to find and expand your synths and sounds manually. Since my inspiration came from messing around with a bunch of sounds and LMMS had none to even start, it was really demotivating.
Then in college I met a guy you may have heard of (soap) and I learned he was still cookin up tracks ever since our music GSCEs which inspired me to start producing again.
I first got FL Studio using means which adhere to international laws but after FL Studio updated I gave in and reaquired FL Studio this time making sure to adhere to international laws really well. And some say he is still cooking all these years later...

Here I JUDGE the artists
Yeah here's a list of nearly all the artists I listen to (that have more than like 3 tracks in my playlist) and my thoughts on themCreo - One of the 3 OG music artists I listened to from Geometry Dash (along with BoomKitty and Xtrullor). The king of electro house + saxophone. The music in GD was probably the start of all my music taste. I miss the more energetic music like showdown but the mixing is always so good. My favourite song is Outlaw and has been since like forever.HOYO-MiX - Yeah well its not really an artist but man these guys can make some of the best ambient music ever like for real... Their EDM is aight, hit or miss. Don't have a favourite track since the music styles and producers are all over the place but they hold the title for having the most songs of any artist added to my playlist.Camellia - This guy... is insane. He makes basically anything and pioneers electronic music with how unique some songs sound. You can find a song for nearly every HDM genre out there. Most of his melodic songs feature the iconic UK Hardcore final drop as well as some speed/splitter/pumpcore ending where he goes all out with the drums just to raise ur heart rate or something lmao. Its hard to choose a favourite song rn but it used to be parallel universe shifter (actually that was my favourite song of all time for a short time. i would never fail to get chills from the final drop). Some of my favourites rn are Suoh Divine Rainment, Yume Nikki Mega Mix or the bad psy bad apple remix.t+pazolite - Crazy sampling man. Most of the tracks basically sound like one of those recycled art pieces where they make some work of art using plastic bottles or something lmao... But for me the best tracks are specifically when he makes a concrete genre instead of his signature style.. My 2 favorites are space tapir which is some banger ambient techno, and Calm & Passionate which is some classic house. However he does feature in a lot of collabs that are some of my favorite songs of all time like Σ by t+paz, gram and dj myosuke (the final drop was my favourite part of any song in terms of pure energy).
